A Public Hearing will be held on Monday September 8, 2014 at 5:30 PM to hear public comments regarding the Final Reading of Ordinance No. 08-11-14-86, an ordinance amending Title 13, Municipal Courts Section 3-102 (1) (d): Town Judge Qualifications; appointment; compensation; etc.
Section : The following text stated in Section 3-102 (1) (d); The compensation of the town judge shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per month shall be changed to: The compensation of the town judge shall be four hundred dollars ($400.00) per month.

History of Englewood
Englewood was established in 1870, two miles southeast of the location where two railroad lines crossed, and was originally known as Tellico Junction.
Several shops, mills and houses were built to take advantage of the railroad construction. By 1907, the Eureka Cotton Mill moved there and became the primary establishment in town.
Absolutely no skateboarding on city property. The city does not have insurance to cover injuries from accidents that may occur from skateboarding. Please do not disregard this notice. If you receive an injury from skateboarding the city will not be liable.
